Someone Who Won’t Lead You Astray

What makes someone a good potential mate? The thought I arrived at recently was, ‘someone who won’t lead you astray’.

The idea is that she is someone who, by engaging together, will cause you to be a truer version of yourself, and conversely, you will cause her to be a truer version of herself. She is someone who, in engaging with her, doesn’t lead you astray spiritually, psychologically, physically, professionally; it’s that your attachment to one another causes both of you to become more authentically yourselves. My hope, my vision, is a relationship of growth where the two are more together than they were apart. The fruitfulness should multiply in every component of the person; the physical, the spiritual, and the psychological.
