It’s sort of taken for granted that people read the Bible for guidance about what to do, or how to appraise the moral value of something, but I often see the Biblical wisdom literature presenting things is the following fashion: here’s something that’s real in life.
Yup, there it is. Make your own judgement.
There is something wise about that.
