Can your business run without your presence and attention? If you are an employee, would the company you work for be in trouble if you left? Are you indispensible, irreplaceable? Now the real question: if you are irreplaceable, do you think that’s a good thing?
If you are an employee, you might say yes, because it feels like a position of leverage, but if you’re a business owner who wants a vacation, it might feel like a position of captivity.
