Forget fame, forget prestige for a moment. It’s easy to focus on politicians, religious leaders, musicians, and entertainers. Consider instead the people who maintain the electrical grid, who build homes, who repair vehicles. Prestige and importance don’t always match up. However, the labor of such people quietly builds communities, feeds families, and creates jobs.
